    • Implementation of 360 Link (Serials solutions).

    • System Migration from MultiLis to Ex Libris ALEPH500.
    • Digital Collection of Architecture Slides.
    • Library Research Methods Course -- developed and team taught with another librarian. 
    • Implemented public microcomputer research stations in the library to replace Vax terminals for full access to the Internet and the Web. 
    • Implemented web based z-39.50 access to the opac. 
    • Developed digital collection of Lee Brown Coye Collection of original artwork.
    • Webmaster for the library. 
    • Implemented use of microcomputers and the VAX in the library. 
    • Developed serials selection and deselection policy. 
    • Changed maintenance of serials list from a typed list to a database on a microcomputer and merged the database into our online catalog. 
    • Developed a survey instrument to collect data on the use of periodicals and newspapers in our library. 
    • Developed analysis tools using Lotus 1-2-3 to evaluate the results and to produce reports to be used in selection and deselection of serials titles. 
    • Developed RFP for serials subscriptions prior to statewide contracts for serials subscriptions. 
    • Trained and provide technical support to staff in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail on microcomputers and the VAX. 
    • Directed the implementation and the adoption of the MultiLis integrated library automation system and the training of staff in its use. 
    • Continued technical support and management of MultiLis as systems librarian. 
    • Developed and implemented library collection evaluation tools and procedures for new college programs, program reviews, program certifications, and course proposals. 
    • Modified such procedures to allow the use of MultiLis in further simplifying production of such reports and evaluations. 
    • Developed LibLynx -- the SUNY Morrisville College Library Information System. Also developed its successor on the World Wide Web now called LibraryLinks. Now manage that system and continually look for ways to improve it. 

Special Projects (December 1985 - December 1987) while public services librarian at Morrisville State College.

  • Developed circulation/reserve policy. 
  • Implemented the use of the ILL Microenhancer Program for InterLibrary Loan. 
  • Performed various collection evaluations for faculty. 
  • Planned and supervised move to temporary quarters while asbestos was removed from the library.
  •  Developed and presented the first special classroom presentations on library research and materials. This had never been done before in this library.
